Why hello πŸ™‚

I have decided for 2015 to dedicate my blog to book reviews. The reason for this is simple: I bet my friend I could read 50 books in a year. I’m hoping reviewing them will keep me motivated and give me an incentive to keep going, as I’m imagining publishing each review as being akin to crossing an item off a to-do list.

Each review can be found in date order on the ‘Home’ page, however if you are looking for something specific pleaseΒ select a genre from the sidebar in order to be taken to reviews for those types of book.

For my loyal followers who remember the days when this blog was dedicated to documenting my university experiences, I have kept a number of my old posts which I couldn’t bear to throw in the trash folder, and these you can find under the heading ‘oldies’, if you should care to revisit them.

All that is left to say now is wish me luck, I hope you enjoy reading, and please feel free to comment! I do like getting comments πŸ˜›

  1. Hi. My sites being a bit screwy, but you left a comment at a manicworld asking to do a post that mentions some program thing to combat the big D?

Sorry if I’ve clicked on something random, but if not, and if you’re still interested, visit the ‘contact’ section at my HAW page (which I won’t link in case it drags this comment to the spam section), and shoot me a message. AMW is a collective blog (that I run), so would love to have you as a guest blogger.

        • Oh cool, I’m sure he’ll really like it! Which halls is he going to be staying in? And not really aside from the general advice of getting yourself out there and making the most of the experience! Oh, and tell him to try and find Tesco as soon as possible, its really close (5-10 minutes walk) and will save him a lot of money rather than shopping in costcutter (the shop on campus).

            • Oh cool, AV is very nice, bit cramped kitchens, but I guess that’s pretty normal πŸ™‚ I was in Tocil, right across from AV. That is some preparation, I’m impressed! I literally walked in the opposite direction to the tide of students with Tesco bags and fortunately found it! So what will he be studying?
